Welcome to the first night football game on either campus between long-time American River Drive rivals Rio Americano and Jesuit High School. The game, sponsored by Farmer’s Insurance, will take place on the Jesuit High School Campus in the Hanson-McClain Advisors Stadium – 5:00 PM Freshmen | 7:00 PM Varsity

The Junior Varsity will be playing Vista Del Lago on Thursday, September 14, 2018, at 4:30 PM at Jesuit High School. Admission to this game is separate to Friday night and can be purchased at the gate on Thursday at either the American River Drive parking lot gate or on the hill at the west end of the home side bleachers.  General Admission – $6, Seniors, HS Students with ID – $4, 10 and under – Free. Gates will open at 3:00 PM.

GATE TIMES & ENTRANCES

There are entrances on both the North (Home) and South (Visitors) sides of Hanson-McClain Advisors Stadium. The Pass Gate is Located at the West end of the home bleachers down the hill and is for players, coaches and game staff only. Spectator gates will open 1 hour prior to kick-off (4:00 PM), pass gate will be open 90 minutes before kick-off (3:30 PM).

PARKING & TRANSPORTATION

Hanson McClain Advisors Stadium is located on the campus of Jesuit High School along American River Drive. In an attempt to minimize the cars in the neighborhood we would ask that you walk, bike, carpool, or Uber.  For those of you that must drive we encourage you to park on campus. Jesuit will be opening extra lots behind the visitor’s bleachers and up on the soccer field. Parking will also be available in all of the normal lots. Parking can be accessed via entries at 4660 Fair Oaks Blvd or 4659 American River Drive. For those of you that are parking on the street please respect our neighbors. Please do not block any driveways and keep their yards clean. Those parked illegally both on and off campus are subject to towing at their own expense.

TAILGATING

Tailgating is not permitted in any capacity on or off campus for this game.

Alcohol Consumption: Jesuit is an alcohol-free campus.  Alcohol consumptions is prohibited and will be confiscated and Sheriffs will cite those in violation of the ordinance. Students will be required to show a student I.D upon request and are subject to random breathalyzer testing.

STUDENT PICK-UP/DROP-OFF

Guests may be dropped off / picked up in front of the chapel off of 4660 Fair Oaks Blvd.

GUEST SEATING

This is a general admission event. Each guest is entitled to (1) seat with each paid admission. The “Home” team will sit on the North side of the stadium (press box side). The “Visitors” will sit on the South side of the stadium. Guests are not allowed to cross-over from side to side after 6:30 pm. Student Cheering Sections will be marked and monitored by their own school administration.

Disabled Guest Seating: There is a seating area in front of both sides of Hanson-McClain Advisors Stadium for Disabled Guest Seating. These areas can be accessed via ramps located on the ground floor of both the North and South sides of the stadium. The Northside also has seating at the top of the bleachers that can be accessed via the bridge behind the Home North Side bleachers.

POP-UP TENTS/ SHADE STRUCTURES

Are permitted as long as they do not obstruct the view of fellow guests. Event staff reserves the right to ask guests to remove their pop-up tents/shade structures at any time at their discretion.

BANNERS & SIGNS

Banners and signs may be hung at Hanson-McClain Advisors Stadium as long as they don’t interfere with the game in progress and/or obstruct the view of other guests. Banners/Signs cannot be attached to sticks or clubs. Banners may not contain political or commercial messages, display inappropriate phrases or words, and must conform to the CIF’s Pursuing Victory with Honor policies. Event staff reserves the right to remove any banner or sign at their discretion.

BROADCASTS

Approval for TV, radio, or internet broadcasts must be approved by the “host” school (Home Team) no later than one week prior to game day.

FIELD ACCESS

Only authorized personnel with proper credentials will be permitted on the field throughout the duration of the event. Any unauthorized person that travels onto the track and/or playing field without proper credentials will be removed from Hanson-McClain Advisors Stadium.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

In the interest of guest safety and enjoyment, Jesuit High School reserves the right to prevent certain items from being brought into Hanson-McClain Advisors Stadium. Items that are not allowed into Hanson-McClain Advisors Stadium include but not limited to:

  • Alcoholic Beverage, Illegal drugs or tobacco products
  • Outside food and/or drinks (Please note that sealed bottled water, baby food/formula and special dietary items are permitted)
  • Ice chests or hard-sided coolers (soft-sided coolers must fit under the bleachers). All bags are subject to search
  • Animals (except certified service animals)
  • Artificial Noisemakers (including bullhorns, cowbells, airhorns, etc.)
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Cans, glass containers and Thermos bottles
  • Fireworks/smoke bombs

CODE OF CONDUCT

The Rivalry between Jesuit and Rio Americano has been a long-standing tradition in Sacramento for over 40 years. This event showcases the beliefs and values that are at the foundation of both Rio Americano and Jesuit High Schools. Behavior that models/supports these ideals is expected from all guests. Jesuit High School, any staff and law enforcement have the right to intervene at any time to provide a safe, family-oriented environment (conforms to CIF Pursuing Victory with Honor guidelines) for all guests to enjoy their football experience free from the following:

• Foul or abusive language or gestures
• Intoxication or other signs of impairment
• Displays of affection not appropriate in a public, family setting
• Obscene or indecent clothing
• Smoking or Tobacco Usage
